• Bachelor's degree required in robotics, CS, EE, ME or related field (or graduating by Summer 2026)
• Proficient in C++ programming and able to upskill quickly
• Experience with ROS/ROS2 in real-world projects or coursework
• Solid understanding of core robotics concepts: kinematics, dynamics, control theory, and path planning
• Familiarity with Linux environments
• Demonstrated passion for solving complex real-world problems with tangible impact

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement robust robotics software using ROS2 and modern C++ for autonomous navigation, manipulation, and perception in dynamic greenhouse environments
• Develop and validate algorithms in NVIDIA Isaac Sim before deploying to our fleet of robots, dramatically reducing development cycles from months to days
• Create intelligent systems that enable robots to make real-time decisions about crop work, from identifying ripe tomatoes to determining optimal cutting points
• Build resilient architectures that ensure continuous operation even with connectivity disruptions, supporting our 24/7 autonomous operations
• Integrate computer vision models with robotic control systems to enable precise manipulation of delicate crops without damage
• Implement over-the-air update systems that allow us to deploy new capabilities remotely to robots worldwide
• Collaborate cross-functionally with AI/ML engineers, mechanical engineers, and crop scientists to deliver end-to-end solutions

Core requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or graduating by Summer 2026)
• Proficiency in C++ programming or demonstrated ability to upskill quickly
• Exposure to ROS/ROS2 through real-world implementations, projects, internships or coursework
• Understanding of core robotics concepts: kinematics, dynamics, control theory, and path planning
• Familiarity with Linux environments
