Job Description
This role involves taking care of overall Facility (Engineering and Controls) & Admin activities.
- Industrial electrical hands-on experience and troubleshooting, including 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, and 24VDC systems.
- Experience in identifying, maintaining, troubleshooting, at field level I/O's and network components, modifying Motor Controls including motor starters, Variable Frequency Drives, DC drives, and standard electrical components.
- Knowledge in Sortation systems and ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems) is an added advantage.
- Perform daily, weekly, monthly technical checks as per PPM schedule.
- Attend TT calls for corrective maintenance, service, and repair works.
- Coordinate with vendors for systems under warranty/AMC.
- Monitor energy consumption readings.
- Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems, electrical and mechanical.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot power distribution systems, branch circuits, lighting systems, transformers, wiring methods, and materials.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components such as photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, Servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tacks, and encoders.
- Support production in a safe, customer-focused manner.
- Perform minor refurbishment and upgrade works for building finishes, fixtures, fittings, equipment, fixed furniture, and OPS equipment like Trolleys, Cages, Carts.
- Conduct regular checks of Fire Alarms & Fire extinguishers.
- Maintain, oil, and grease carts, trolleys, pumps, and rolling shutters.
- Attend to regular electrical works.
- Issue height work and hot work permits.
- Handle minor civil & plumbing corrective maintenance calls.
- Provide daily reports on TT closures, open cases, and RCA.
- Update tools inventory.
- Perform scheduled PPM maintenance.
- Manage soft services activities such as pest control, housekeeping, and scrap & garbage disposal.
- Handle agency staff and oversee overall shift operations.
