Job summary

Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ) is hiring a Risk Systems Senior Analyst in Bengaluru to define and deliver change across multiple workstreams. You will liaise with stakeholders to elicit and validate requirements for stress testing processes and systems, ensuring alignment to the program’s target state.

Role requires bridging business and technology, driving outcomes, and supporting various testing cycles such as UAT and system testing to ensure solutions meet requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit risk metrics and regulatory processes such as stress testing or IFRS9 provisioning.
• Extensive experience as a Business Systems Analyst on complex transformation projects.
• Ability to elicit requirements, document business processes, and define target operating model capabilities.
• Hands-on experience in planning and executing testing (including UAT and system testing) for new systems or features.
• Proven ability to analyze complex systems and navigate ambiguous information, plus SQL data analysis.
• Excellent stakeholder management and clear communication across business and technology groups.

As aRisk Systems Senior Analyst , you will play a pivotal role in defining and delivering change across multiple workstreams. You’ll liaise with diverse stakeholders to elicit and validate requirements for changes in stress testing business processes and systems, ensuring solutions align to the program’s target state. What will your day look like?

As a Risk System Senior Analyst, You are accountable to:

• Collaborate with stakeholders across Risk, to elicit and document detailed business systems requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of end-to-end needs and translating them into testable technical outcomes
• Document system dependencies, information flows, and constraints. Maintain traceability of requirements through design, build, and testing phases
• Develop test plans and cases and govern their execution. Support and participate in various testing cycles (e.g. User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Business Verification Testing, System Integration Testing) to validate that solutions meet requirements
• Coordinate with operational teams and vendors to ensure new platform features are ready for business use
• Synthesize log and event data from multiple sources to perform root cause analysis on issues
• Use modern collaboration and documentation tools (e.g. Confluence, JIRA, SharePoint, MS Teams) to create and maintain requirements, design artifacts, test evidence and status updates
• Promote knowledge sharing and single sources of truth for project documentation
• Work closely with cross-functional teams – including business subject matter experts, developers, testers, and third-party vendors – to ensure changes are integrated and tested in a holistic manner
• Identify and actively manage risks related to requirements and testing (for example, data quality issues or potential impacts on downstream systems

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Experience in credit risk metrics and regulatory processes – such as stress testing, regulatory capital or IFRS9 provisioning is highly regarded
• Extensive experience as a Business Systems Analyst on complex transformation projects.
• Demonstrated ability to elicit requirements, document business processes, and define target operating model capabilities
• Hands-on experience in planning and executing testing (including UAT and system testing) for new systems or features
• Proven strength in analyzing complex systems and problems, with an ability to navigate ambiguous or layered information and analyze data using SQL
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and negotiate outcomes across business and technology groups
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to influence or lead others in solving problems
