Job summary

EY is seeking a team player with a strong testing mindset focused on ETL, Database, Data Validation, and Functional Testing, with exposure to test automation. 3–5 years of ETL testing experience and hands-on SQL are required. Strong skills in data validation, migration testing and report validation are essential.

Banking domain exposure is a plus. You will work in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, in an Agile environment, using tools like Selenium, Playwright, Python, JIRA, and Octane to assure quality

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of ETL testing experience with hand-on SQL
• Experience in data validation, source-to-target validation and data reconciliation
• Strong SQL skills to write complex queries for data validation and troubleshooting
• Experience in web and client application testing in an Agile environment
• Exposure to test automation tools (Selenium/Playwright/Python) and test management tools (JIRA/Octane)
• Banking/Financial Services domain experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Support ETL testing with emphasis on data validation and reconciliation
• Design and execute test cases for ETL, data transformation and report validation
• Perform end-to-end data flow verification and file validation
• Contribute to automation efforts using Selenium, Playwright, Python
• Collaborate in an Agile setup and communicate effectively with stakeholders

• Has 3 to 5 years of experience in ETL testing , with hand-on SQL expertise, and Functional Testing.
• Strong experience in ETL testing, source-to-target validation, data reconciliation, migration testing, data transformation testing, and report validation.
• Highly Proficient in SQL with the ability to write complex queries for data validation, analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Able to interpret business requirements, mapping documents, and transformation logic to design effective test scenarios and validations.
• Experienced in file validation, database testing, and end-to-end data flow verification.
• Skilled in creating detailed test cases and executing functional and data-focused test scenarios.
• Has experience in web and client application testing.
• Working knowledge of at least one automation tool such as Selenium, Playwright, Python.
• Familiar with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA and Octane.
• Strong understanding of QA fundamentals, testing methodologies, and defect lifecycle management.
• Must have hands-on experience working in an Agile environment.
• Experience in Banking/Financial Services domain is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
