Job summary

Armory Shield Private Limited is seeking a senior RF hardware engineer to design, test and implement RF hardware for next-generation defense products. You will design circuits, PCBs, transmitters, receivers, power amplifiers, and LNAs, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Deep RF theory and hands-on radar experience with ADS/HFSS/CST are required. You will work in Gurgaon in-office, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced startup focused on national security.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of proven experience in RF hardware design and development
• Strong understanding of RF theory, principles and techniques
• Proficiency in RF design software such as ADS/HFSS/CST
• Experience with RF test equipment (network/spectrum analyzers)
• Experience in designing and developing radar systems
• Knowledge of radar architectures (pulsed, CW, FMCW)
• Understanding of antenna design principles for radar applications
• Familiarity with radar performance metrics (range, Doppler, sensitivity)

About this role

You will be responsible for designing, testing, and implementation of RF hardware for our innovative products that meet the rigorous demands of modern technology systems.

• Design and develop RF hardware, including circuits, PCBs, transmitters, receivers, power amplifiers, and LNAs
• Design and develop phased array antennas
• Conduct simulations and analyses to optimize RF system performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RF hardware into broader systems
• Perform tests and troubleshoot RF hardware to ensure functionality and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in RF technology.

Must haves

• 15+ years of proven experience in RF hardware design and development

30 Days

• Complete the onboarding process, learn about our mission and values, meet your team, and understand ongoing projects and priorities.
