Job summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited in Bengaluru is seeking an RF Bench Characterization Engineer to drive test methodology, device verification, and characterization for highly integrated RF transceivers and mixed-signal ASICs. You will design and debug test interfaces, automate measurements, and analyze data to deliver robust test solutions for post-silicon validation.

Qualifications

• Solid software skills for writing and debugging Test Automation code.
• Expertise on developing test automation through remote control of instrument.
• Solid understanding of Electronics engineering fundamentals, Mixed-signal and RF circuit analysis techniques.
• Good knowledge of Mixed-signal and RF measurement techniques such as Harmonics, EVM, IP3, Noise Figure, ACPR, Jitter, Phase noise and Lock time.
• Good ASIC device level post silicon validation skills. System level knowledge is a plus.
• Able to work hands on with Lab equipment like Spectrum analyzer, Signal Generator, Network Analyzer and Digitizer.
• Knowledge of Mixed-signal and RF PCB bring-up and debug. Using CAD software such as Mentor Graphics DA or Cadence Allegro is a plus.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques, quality and reliability testing. Wafer fabrication fundamentals is a plus.
• Able to work independently with initiative through challenges, Technical or otherwise.
• Able to communicate clearly, organize effectively and document work thoroughly while working with local and global teams.

Role:

The BDC Post Silicon Engineering group has an opening for a RF Bench Characterization Engineer. This group develops Test solutions for design verification of highly integrated Receivers/Transmitters/Transceivers and Mixed signal ASICs designed by QCT. Job responsibilities for this position include New Test methodology implementation, Device Verification and Characterization, Design and debug of Test interface hardware, Test automation, and Data analysis.

Skills/Experience:

• Solid software skills for writing and debugging Test Automation code. Competency in automation development using at least 1 automation tool (C#, Python, LabVIEW).

• 4 years plus experience.
