Job summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a Wireless R&D IP Design Specialist in Bangalore to contribute to cutting-edge wireless IP development, covering WAN, WLAN, GNSS, and Bluetooth. You will work on front-end RTL design for wireless/IP or DSP-based IPs, developing micro-architecture and RTL code using SystemVerilog, Verilog, or VHDL.

The role requires strong problem-solving, collaboration with global teams, and familiarity with RTL design flows. An advanced degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s or PhD in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science from a reputed institution.
• 3+ years (for BS/BE) or 2+ years (for MS) or 1+ year (for PhD) of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to flagship Wireless IP development covering WAN, WLAN, GNSS, and Bluetooth technologies.
• Define and develop next-generation Wireless R&D products.

Technical Requirements

• Strong experience in IP design (preferably wireless/DSP domain).
• Exposure to synthesis and Static Timing Analysis (STA).
• Awareness of low-power and high-speed design techniques.
• Familiarity with industry-standard front-end flows (lint, CDC, etc.).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation: Unix/Linux shell, Perl, Python, Makefile.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and critical thinking skills.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s or PhD in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science from a reputed institution.
• Experience: 2- 12 years

Soft Skills
