Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification is required.
• 5+ years in a finance function with exposure to US GAAP Revenue.
• Knowledge of real estate service industry and terminology preferred.
• Ability to read, analyse and interpret financial reports and complex business documents.
• Experience with high-volume transactions and a result-driven mindset.

• Analytical and problem-solving approach; able to collect and review data to establish facts and provide solutions.
• Strong prioritisation and coordination skills; autonomous yet a team player; escalation when needed.
• Strong IT skills including Excel; Oracle Peoplesoft knowledge advantageous.

Role Purpose - Analyse individual revenue transactions to ensure that revenue is properly documented and recorded according to company policy (US GAAP)

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret a significant volume of legal contracts, other supporting documents and correspondence to verify that documentation is adequate to support revenue recognition under US GAAP accounting policies. This can be of varying complexities
• Understand and adhere to internal accounting policies, processes and procedures
• Recognise and analyse potential issues and/or conflicts and recommend corrective action to minimise issues
• Organise documentation for audit
• Develop key relationships with internal clients; responding to their routine & non-routine queries

Person Specification/Requirements

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
• 5+ years of working in a finance function with exposure to US GAAP Reporting; specifically Revenue
• Knowledge of real estate service industry and terminology preferred
• Able to read, analyse and interpret financial reports and complex business documents
• Experience of working in high volume transactions with a result driven mind-set
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to quickly form professional relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels of seniority
