Job summary

Elastic seeks a dynamic Revenue Manager in India to drive revenue recognition under ASC 606 for software/SaaS products and support growth across the global organization. The role reports to the Senior Revenue Manager and collaborates with Sales, FP&A, Ops, and Platform Billing.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in revenue with strong analytical, communication, and project-management skills, plus experience with RevPro, NetSuite and Salesforce. Remote-friendly with flexible location options.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of revenue experience with ASC 606, software and SaaS knowledge.
• Experience in Big 4 or publicly traded tech company preferred.
• Experience with RevPro, NetSuite and Salesforce preferred.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace apps (BigQuery, Gemini, Gmail, Sheets, Docs).
• Sigma or comparable BI tools and Claude or AI tools preferred.
• Strong communication, project management and multitasking abilities.
• Independent, proactive, and detail oriented in a fast-paced environment.

• Support cross-functional partners by resolving SFDC cases and drafting revenue memos.
• Contribute to revenue close with a focus on cloud revenue accounting.
• Lead and review UAT testing to drive system/process improvements.
• Perform or review revenue reconciliations and analyze large datasets.
• Coordinate audits and respond to auditor inquiries.
• Deliver internal training to enhance revenue knowledge sharing.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and controls and reduce risk.
• Complete ad hoc projects supporting critical initiatives.

Role Summary

We are looking for a dynamic Revenue Manager who is eager to collaborate and support significant growth at a global, publicly traded software company. Based in India, this position will report directly to the Senior Revenue Manager.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with revenue contract review under ASC 606 guidance. Determining appropriate revenue recognition for signed contracts.
• Supporting cross‑functional partners (Sales, Order Ops, CBO, FP&A, Platform Billing, etc.) by resolving SFDC cases.
• Drafting or reviewing revenue memos.
• Contributing to the revenue close process with a dedicated focus on cloud revenue accounting.
• Leading and reviewing UAT testing to drive system and process improvements.
• Performing or reviewing revenue reconciliations, analysis and managing complex large datasets.
• Coordinating and managing auditing requests, including addressing auditor inquiries.
• Developing and delivering internal training to enhance organizational revenue knowledge sharing.
• Finding opportunities to improve existing processes and controls and minimize risk.
• Completing ad hoc projects and supporting a variety of critical initiatives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of overall experience in revenue with an understanding of ASC 606, including software and SaaS related principles.
• Big 4 and/or publicly traded technology company experience (preferred).
• RevPro, NetSuite and Salesforce experience preferred.
• Google Workspace applications including Google BigQuery, Gemini, Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, and NoteBookLM preferred.
• Sigma or comparable front‑end BI tool experience desired.
• Claude or comparable AI tool experience desired.
• Comfortable working independently in a distributed, dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
• Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and social skills.
• Strong project management skills, including the capacity to balance multiple competing priorities.
