Elastic is looking for a Senior Analyst of Enterprise Reporting to join the CFO organization, focusing on BI, metrics, and trusted data assets. You will own end-to-end reporting projects, shape data models, and deliver scalable dashboards across Finance and Go-to-Market functions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, build robust data pipelines, and drive data quality for certified reporting while embracing new analytics approaches in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in business analytics, business intelligence, data analytics, or data modeling.
• 4+ years of Tableau experience, including data-source development, measure definition, dashboard design, and ongoing dashboard maintenance.
• 4+ years of SQL experience and hands-on experience with BigQuery or similar cloud data platforms for data transformation and analytical data modeling.
• Ability to translate business needs into reliable data models, metrics, analysis, and reporting—and to own the work through a complete, production-ready solution.
• Expert visual judgment and familiarity with modern dashboard design principles; able to create reporting that is clear, focused, and useful for the intended audience.
• Proactive, self-directed working style with appetite for scalable reporting and openness to AI-assisted workflows.
• Robust communication skills and ability to work with technical and business partners in a fast-moving environment.

What is The Role

We are looking for a Senior Analyst of Enterprise Reporting to join our growing team. The Enterprise Reporting & Analytics team, within the CFO organization, is responsible for the consistent availability and reliability of enterprise data assets and key business metrics across the company.

We partner closely with various Finance functional teams to provide the support needed in planning, forecasting and performance evaluations. At the same time, we own and manage certified reporting data assets used across the company, including by RevOps, Marketing, Product, and Engineering, to support trusted, consistent decision making at scale.

This role is focused on business intelligence, metrics, and reporting. We are looking for someone who can take projects from end to end: understand the business question, shape the underlying data model, build and validate the reporting solution, and maintain and improve it over time.

What You Will Be Doing

• Partner with Finance and cross-functional business teams to define and develop trusted enterprise data sources, performance metrics, and reporting that support business insights and decision making at scale.
• Manage reporting and analytics projects from start to finish. This involves gathering requirements, transforming data, delivering dashboards, validating results, and enabling stakeholders.
• Build and improve analytical data models and transformations in BigQuery, ensuring data assets are accurate, scalable, performant, and appropriate for certified reporting.
• Develop clear, intuitive Tableau, Sigma, and other reporting experiences that help stakeholders understand business performance and take action.
• Support data certification, metric definition, documentation, and data-quality monitoring to maintain confidence in key enterprise reporting.
• Perform quantitative analysis and data mining to identify insights beyond the immediate request; proactively identify opportunities for follow-up analysis, automation, and process improvement.
• Improve existing reports, data models, and workflows for accuracy, usability, performance, and maintainability.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of relevant experience in business analytics, business intelligence, data analytics, or data modeling. Experience supporting Finance, Revenue, Go-to-Market, or other enterprise business functions is preferred.
• 4+ years of Tableau experience, including data-source development, measure definition, dashboard design, and ongoing dashboard maintenance. Experience with Sigma or other modern BI tools is a plus.
• 4+ years of SQL experience and hands‑on experience with BigQuery (or similar cloud data platforms) for data transformation and analytical data modeling. You are comfortable independently reading, writing, debugging, and improving SQL code. Practical experience building data pipelines with dbt and managing collaborative version control using Git is a plus.
• Ability to translate business needs into reliable data models, metrics, analysis, and reporting—and to own the work through a complete, production‑ready solution rather than only one part of the process.
• Expert visual judgment and familiarity with modern dashboard design principles; able to create reporting that is clear, focused, and useful for the intended audience.
• A proactive, self‑directed working style. You look beyond the assigned request to identify relevant insights, issues worth investigating, and opportunities to make future reporting more scalable.
• Openness to new tools and approaches, including AI‑assisted development and analytics workflows, while maintaining strong core analytical and technical skills.
• Robust communication skills and the ability to work proficiently with both technical and business partners in a fast‑moving environment.
