Job summary

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) in Mumbai seeks a Chartered Accountant with 2–3 years of IND AS 115 experience to manage revenue assurance across IT/ITES projects. You will audit internal controls, ensure accurate revenue recognition, and monitor WIP and unbilled DSO while partnering with finance and delivery teams.

You will leverage SAP and advanced Excel/BI skills to maintain revenue records, forecast risks, and support strategic decision-making in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with 2/3 years of relevant experience in IND AS 115 (Mandatory).
• Candidates should be from IT/ITES industry (Mandatory).
• Good communication skills.
• Good knowledge of business, delivery processes and project delivery life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Hands on experience on Revenue Assurance process in an IT, ITES or an engineering company.
• Identify revenue risks and potential leakage; audit internal controls across the revenue cycle.
• Ensure IND AS 115 compliance in revenue recognition.
• Accounting and booking of revenues for different types of projects.
• Track Invoice Progress and credit notes.
• Maintain WIP at minimum and target unbilled DSO.
• Record provisions for discounts, warranty and contract-related liabilities.
• Experience with SAP ERP.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Power Pivot, BI and Power BI.

Role & responsibilities

• Hands on experience on Revenue Assurance process in an IT, ITES or an engineering company.
• Will be responsible for ensuring that revenue risks & any potential revenue leakage is timely identified and addressed, implementing established processes to audit internal controls across the entire revenue cycle.
• Very good knowledge of IND AS 115.
• Accounting and booking of revenues for different type of projects.
• Tracking of Invoice Progress and credit notes.
• Ensure WIP is maintained at minimum level and strive to achieve targeted unbilled DSO
• Accounting for provision relating to Discount, warranty and other contract related risk and liabilities.
• Exposure to ERP systems specifically SAP.
• Expert knowledge in MS Excel, Power Pivot, BI and Power BI.
