Job summary

Airbus Engineering Center in Bengaluru is seeking an Electrical System Engineer to join our team of engineers supporting Airbus commercial aircraft and helicopters. You will perform electrical load analysis, support architectural studies, and contribute to design and verification tasks.The ideal candidate holds a B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech/M.E.

in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering with 3–5 years of relevant experience, and is proficient in MATLAB, Simulink, C++, Python, and JavaScript.

Qualifications

• B.Tech./B.E./M.Tech./M.E. in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Exposure to Aircraft Electrical System and Configuration Management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical load analysis for Airbus commercial aircraft on Time, Cost and Quality.
• Support electrical architectural studies and load list reviews.
• Analyze loads at busbar, TRU and generator levels; overload analysis.
• Create ELA documents and ELA Reports; respond to airline requests.
• Feasibility studies for new modification proposals on electrical systems.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Electrical System Engineer

Job Code: Electrical System Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Delivery of Electrical load analysis for all Airbus Commercial aircrafts on Time, Cost and Quality
• Support on Electrical architectural studies
• Reviewing/analyzing the electrical load list
• Analysis of loads at various levels (busbar level, TRU level, generator level) and overload analysis
• Support (and develop to support) detailed design and analysis reports including, o Load flow analysis o Voltage drop analysis o Protection selection o Inservice issues
• Creation of ELA document and ELA Report
• Analyze and reply various Airline Electrical load analysis requests
• Electrical structure network[ESN] analysis
• Feasibility studies for new modification proposals on electrical systems
• Define and perform trade off studies for various programmes
• Creation and maintenance of aircraft fleet allocation and configuration management

Allied Activities

• Initiate optimization studies and propose innovative solutions.
• Create collaboration topics to improve the process, methods and tools

Education

• B.Tech. / B.E. / M.Tech. / M.E. in Electrical / Aerospace Engineering.

Required Technical Expertise

• General awareness of aircraft and its systems
• Good understanding of engineering fundamentals and use of first principles.
• Good with mathematics and statistical analysis.
• Exposure to Aircraft Electrical System
• Good understanding of Configuration Management and Change process.

Additional Desired Skills

• Experience with systems engineering: defining requirements, experimental verification, and qualification procedures
• Experience in writing/interpreting coding languages (MATLAB, C++, Python, JavaScript) would be advantageous
• Proficient understanding and application of MATLAB and Simulink
• Experience with model in the loop, hardware in the loop, and software in the loop simulations
• Basics of data analytics and data science

Experience

• Preferable 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Training sessions will be conducted on different aspects of operations as needed
