Job summary

Quipt Home Medical is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care to patients in the home setting. The RT will set up respiratory equipment promptly after physician orders and will manage ventilators such as BiPAPs.

The candidate should hold an active RRT or CRT license, maintain a clean driving record, and be 21 or older to be covered on company auto insurance. This is a patient-focused home-care role.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RRT or CRT license.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
• 21+ years old to be covered on company auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and delivery of respiratory equipment including non-invasive ventilators and BiPAPs in hospital and home settings.
• Completes delivery and pickup paperwork promptly and accurately.
• Provides patients with instruction on proper use, maintenance and safety of their equipment.
• Performing follow-up phone calls with patients after equipment is set up.
• Providing follow-up care in the home setting as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position

Respiratory Therapist

General Description

Quipt Home Medical is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with experience in providing respiratory care to patients in the home setting. The respiratory therapist will be responsible for setting up respiratory equipment in a prompt manner after receiving physicians' orders for prescribed respiratory equipment. The successful candidate will have experience with ventilator management.

Job Responsibilities

• Set up and delivery of respiratory equipment including, but not limited to, non-invasive ventilators and BiPAPs in the hospital and home setting

Requirements

• Clean driving record
• Successful completion of a background check
• Must be 21 years or older to be covered on company auto insurance and have a valid driver’s license
