Job summary

Egis Road Operation India invites a detail-oriented Resident Engineer - Civil to join our team in Kharagpur, India. You will supervise on-site construction activities, ensure project specifications and timelines are met, and uphold safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree and at least 10 years of experience with four railway projects, and will mentor junior engineers while coordinating with contractors and stakeholders to keep the project progressing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Total 10+ years of experience with minimum 4 projects in capacity of Expert/ RE/ TL on Railway projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to maintain high standards of workmanship.
• Analyze and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure project progress.
• Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and technical submittals.
• Monitor project budgets and schedules, identifying and addressing potential issues proactively.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Coordinate with the project management team to facilitate efficient decision-making and problem-solving.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and site staff
