Job summary

Sofomation Energy is seeking a senior Reservoir Engineer in India with 15-20 years of hands-on oil & gas experience, including 3-5 years in reserves & resources management. The role requires strong skills in reservoir simulation (Eclipse, CMG), decline curve analysis, material balance, and volumetrics.

Candidates should be adept at working in multidisciplinary teams across mature fields and development projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline; Master’s preferred.
• 15-20 years of hands-on reservoir engineering experience in the oil & gas industry with at least 3-5 years in managing Reserves & Resources.
• Good understanding of reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, CMG).
• Strong experience in decline curve analysis, material balance, and volumetrics.
• Familiarity with production systems and integrated asset modeling.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams in mature fields, development projects, and/or unconventional resources.
• Good knowledge of reserves classification and reporting standards (SPE-PRMS/SEC).
