Job summary

Onesubsea is seeking a Reservoir Engineer based in Navi Mumbai. The role involves performing classical reservoir engineering studies, data analysis, dynamic simulation, and collaborating with various technical professionals to devise economically viable development plans.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in petroleum engineering, along with 8-12 years of experience in the E&P or service industry, specifically in reservoir simulation and fluid modeling.

Qualifications

Job Summary

The Reservoir Engineer will be closely involved in classical Reservoir engineering, PVT and SCAL data analysis & validation, dynamic simulation, EOR studies, Field development planning and other subsurface activities related to Reservoir engineering domain. In daily work of the Reservoir engineer, he/she will be interacting with the client representatives, Manager, Service Delivery team leads, RE team leader in aligning the definition and prioritization of the requirements. He/she will also be working with the other domain PTEs to define the customer problem, define the solution, explain the uniqueness of the solution. Extensive experience in reservoir simulation is must for the described position.

Experience required

• Experience in Exploration, appraisal & (or) Development fields as Reservoir Engineer
• A demonstrable ability in planning, organizing and execution of studies/projects is required
• Perform classical reservoir engineering studies
• Experience with PVT and fluid modelling, SCAL data interpretation
• Experience with Well Test design, interpretation, and analysis- Pressure & Rate transient analysis
• Using advanced numerical simulation techniques/ dynamic modelling methods to forecast oil and gas production
• Collaborating with other technical professionals (geophysicists, geologists and Petro-physicists) in devising economically viable development plan
• Optimizing recovery plans, including new well locations or projects involving enhanced recovery methods
• Developing and executing data-gathering plans and using the results to develop projects to increase recovery efficiency.
• Manages the sub-surface uncertainty through the anticipation of alternatives, quantifying exposure and maximizing reward.
• Consult with relevant subject matter experts as required to optimize the technical design.
• Experience in providing technical support throughout the service delivery process.
• Experience in Petrel-RE, Eclipse/ IX is must
