Job summary

ZoomInfo in Bengaluru, Karnataka is seeking a Research Specialist II to research, verify, and update data for our sales intelligence platform. You will review information from public sources, compile summaries, and ensure precise data entry with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.

The role follows a hybrid work pattern (3 days in office, 2 days work from home) with emphasis on independent prioritization and high-quality research across online resources.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years previous organic research experience.
• Excellent in Firmographics, Company information and contact research.
• Hands-on experience in researching company websites, SEC filings, LinkedIn, and other publicly available sources.

• Prepare source data for entry by compiling and organizing data, as well as researching incomplete or unclear information.
• Record accurate documentation of sources and collected data.
• Maintain confidentiality to protect operations and ensure customer confidence.

As a Research Specialist II You will be responsible for researching, verifying, and updating data for ZoomInfo's industry-leading sales intelligence platform. What You'll Do

• Research required information primarily through online resources
• Review, verify, and improve information from technology-generated data sources

What You Bring

• 3 to 5 years previous organic research experience
• Excellent in Firmographics , Company information and contact research
• Hands-on experience in researching company websites, SEC filings, LinkedIn, and other publicly available sources.
• Ability to identify mergers, acquisitions, funding events, leadership changes, and other business signals through online research.
• Experience with G Suite (Gmail, Google Sheets) a plus
• Possess excellent computer and research skills
• Good understanding of corporate actions like mergers, acquisitions and parent-subsidiary relationships
• Ability to establish priorities and work independently with little supervision
• Maintain a high level of accuracy while balancing changes in workload
• This is a mandatory hybrid role (3 days Work from Office and 2 days Work from home) and general shift.
