Job summary

Lupin Limited in India seeks a Research Scientist in Biotech R&D to lead product characterisation and biosimilarity studies using LC-MS. You will plan experiments, draft and review reports, and contribute to dossier submissions with robust data interpretation.

The role involves cross-functional collaboration, instrument procurement, and training colleagues in LC-MS techniques, aiming to advance in-house capabilities and scientific excellence.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in Pharma/Biotech/Biosimilars
• Characterisation of product with LC-MS and analytical instruments
• Method development and validation

Responsibilities

• Characterisation of products using LC-MS for biosimilarity studies.
• Drafting/reviewing reports and presentations for CMC/RA dossiers.
• Support cross-functional analysis like impurity characterization.
• Method development, qualification, and report preparation.
• Procurement related to new instruments and evaluation of new technologies.
• Training on advanced LC-MS applications and SOPs.
• Guiding and mentoring team members in LC-MS workflows and data interpretation.

Job Profile

• Product characterization using LC/MS for biosimilarity studies.
• Planning of experiments. Drafting and/or review reports and presentations on experimental data and scientific outcomes for CMC / RA for dossier submission, method qualification, assessing biosimilarity etc.
• Support cross-functional analysis such as impurity characterization.
• Method Development, Qualification and report preparation.
• Procurement related to new instruments. To assess new technologies to enhance in-house scientific and technological capabilities.
