Job summary

The Laboratory of Molecular NeuroTherapeutics at NIPER Raebareli invites applications for Project Research Scientist-I on an ICMR-funded project in collaboration with IIT Delhi. The position is stationed at NIPER Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh, with a campus at Lucknow.

The ideal candidate holds a PhD and has hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture, qPCR, transfection, microscopy, Western blotting, and animal behavioural studies, and can lead project activities with scientific independence.

Qualifications

• PhD in Pharmacology, Toxicology, or allied life science discipline.
• Hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture, qPCR, transfection, microscopy, Western blotting, animal handling, and behavioural experiments.
• Ability to independently drive project activities and contribute to future research funding.
• Aptitude for mentoring junior researchers and disseminating scientific knowledge.
• Demonstrated scientific writing skills with publications in reputed journals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct experimental research in neuroscience and therapeutics on an ICMR-funded project.

The Laboratory of Molecular NeuroTherapeutics, NIPER Raebareli, has an upcoming opening for a Project Research Scientist-I under an ICMR-funded research project in collaboration with IIT Delhi.

Location: NIPER Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh, Campus at Lucknow

Remuneration: ₹56,000/month + HRA (20%; ₹11,200/month)

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• PhD in Pharmacology, Toxicology, or an allied life science discipline.
• Hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture, qPCR, transfection, microscopy, Western blotting, animal handling, and behavioural experiments.
• Strong commitment to experimental research, with the ability to independently drive project activities and contribute to future research funding.
