Job summary

Lifecell in Chennai invites a fresher candidate with MSc in Lifesciences/Biotechnology or related field to join our R&D/manufacturing team in a hands-on role. You will conduct experiments, collect data, and contribute to product development under supervision.

The position requires willingness to learn, collaborate across departments, and maintain high standards of aseptic processing and GMP practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• MSc in Lifesciences/Biotechnology or related field; Fresher or up to 1 year experience.
• Demonstrated experience in a research and development/manufacturing role is highly required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct experiments, record data, and carry out fieldwork.
• Demonstrate procedures to staff and train production and QUC employees for routine testing.
• Present results to senior/other research staff.
• Prepare stability and process validation protocols.
• Design and format Product development records, SOPs, and other documents.
• Test license preparation for new projects.
• Maintain materials stock and ensure quality standards.
• Coordinate with research teams and liaise with colleagues.
• Develop original solutions to problems.
• Keep up to date with scientific and technical developments.
• Support in laying systems for governance, regulatory compliance, and accreditation processes.
• Implement and comply with policies and standards per regulatory bodies.
• Perform competency assessments and maintain subordinate records.
• Maintain laboratory and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conducting experiments, recording and analyzing data. Carrying out fieldwork.

4. Executive stability planning, prepare stability protocol and process validation protocol.
5. Designing and formatting of Product development record, SOP and other documents.

14. Maintaining general laboratory and laboratory equipment.

16. Any other work as assigned by superiors from time to time.
17. Maintain team productivity and report to seniors on a monthly basis.
