Job summary

EffecMed Private Limited in Navi Mumbai is seeking a postgraduate researcher to contribute to the fabrication and testing of biomaterials-based medical devices under clean room conditions. The role focuses on rigorous documentation, data collection, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will develop SOPs, stability protocols, and qualification tests (FAT/IQ/OQ/PQ), coordinate with lab operations, and help plan future R&D activities, with emphasis on strong English communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Pursuing postgraduate with M-Tech/M Sc/PhD in related field or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing of biomaterials/biotechnology/biomedical products.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English; good interpersonal skills.
• Strong work ethics, eagerness to learn and passion for research.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication and Manufacturing: Fabrication of biomaterials-based medical device under clean room conditions
• Documentation and Reporting
• Preparing comprehensive reports, filling Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), and documenting all production-related activities
• Developing SOPs, stability protocols, FAT, IQ, OQ, PQ, and maintaining thorough documentation of analyses
• Handling equipment such as Lyophilizers, blister machines, microscope, etc.
• Data Analysis: Data collection and analysis per established protocol
• Testing and Evaluation: Testing and analysis of medical devices in vitro and in vivo
• Strategic Planning: Documentation and strategizing future developmental R&D work

Job description

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Fabrication and Manufacturing: Fabrication of biomaterials based medical device under clean room conditions
• Documentation and Reporting
• Preparing comprehensive reports, filling Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), and documenting all production-related activities
• Developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), stability protocols, FAT, IQ, OQ, PQ, and maintaining thorough documentation of analyses
• Handling of equipment such as Lyophilizers, blister machines, microscope, etc.
• Data Analysis: Data collection and analysis of the data as per the established protocol
• Testing and Evaluation: Testing and analysis of medical devices in vitro and in vivo
• Strategic Planning: Documentation and strategizing future developmental R&D work

Essential Qualifications and experience:

• Pursuing postgraduate with M-Tech/M Sc/PhD. with experience or soon-to-be postgraduate with related research work in a relevant discipline like Biomedical sciences / Biotechnology/ or equivalent
• Experience in manufacturing of biomaterials/biotechnology/biomedical products
• A true team player with Experience in experimental planning and coordination of various operations for streamlined research
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and strong interpersonal/networking skills
• Strong work ethics, eagerness to learn and passion for research

3. Place of work: Mainly Rabale, Navi Mumbai but can include outside work and visits.
