Job summary

The candidate will help develop a data-driven inverse design platform for magnetoelectric sensors by integrating literature data, computational data, and AI/ML approaches.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field with >65% qualifying percentage.
• Basic knowledge of Python and data analysis is desirable.
• Familiarity with machine learning, AI, scientific computing, or computational modelling is an advantage.
• Interest in interdisciplinary research involving functional materials, sensors, AI/ML, and computational materials research is encouraged.
• Good scientific literature reading, data interpretation and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop a data-driven research platform for magnetoelectric composites integrating literature data, computational data, machine learning, and inverse-design approaches.
• Contribute to the design and execution of the funded research project at Mahindra University.
• Potentially collaborate with PhD program enrollment opportunities during the project.
