Job Summary

We are looking for a curious detail-oriented Research Analyst to track the Technology Sector which includes Technology Telecom businesses.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain primary research coverage of global tech businesses.
• Primary focus is IT Services and Managed Services spanning global systems integrators, ERD, offshore/GCC-heavy IT services providers, BPM/BPO companies and specialist managed services vendors.
• Working knowledge of the broader Software, Hardware and Cloud Computing ecosystem is expected to develop over time and will meaningfully strengthen the analysts ability to connect trends across the technology stack.
• Telecom Telecom Ancillary companies including active and passive assets.

Collaboration Learning

• Maintain research files, models, source documents, meeting notes for the coverage universe.
• Collaborate with other sector analysts to flag cross-sector learnings (like enterprise IT spend trends affecting both software and services names).
• Contribute to building out research pipeline: trackers, checklists and templates that improve the teams speed and consistency of coverage.

Reporting

• Track quarterly results, management commentary, earnings calls, investor presentations and regulatory filings for companies under coverage
• Translate learning into concise, well-structured research notes, initiation reports and company / thematic slide decks for internal investment discussions.

Financial Analysis

• Financial statement analysis of listed Indian and Global Technology Services companies.
• Track and interpret sector-specific operating metrics for IT/managed services.
• Benchmark companies against global and domestic peers on growth, margin, return ratios (ROIC, ROCE) and free cash flow generation, etc.

Qualifications

• Educational credentials which give you the skills required to perform the role like - CA, CFA (US), MBA (Finance) are preferred.
