Job summary

Siemens in Pune is seeking a seasoned Requirement Manager to define, implement, and maintain RM processes and plans across global projects. You will capture, structure, and ensure traceability of all project requirements and manage them in DOORS/Polarion, aligning with RAMS and V&V teams.

You will coordinate with engineers, architects, and management, drive RM ownership end-to-end, and support audits with baselines and compliance documentation. Ten years plus experience in RM is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Define, implement, and maintain Requirements Management (RM) processes and plans.
• Capture, structure, and ensure traceability of all project requirements.
• Maintain requirements in RM tools (DOORS/Polarion).
• Ensure integrity, consistency, and compliance of requirements throughout lifecycle.
• Coordinate with system engineering, RAMS, and V&V teams for requirement alignment.
• Prepare reports, baselines, and compliance documentation for audits and milestones.
• Support teams in tool usage, methodology, and requirements tracking.
• Act as single point of contact for RM across the IXL scope.
• Drive process adherence and continuous review of RM activities.

We are looking for a Requirement Manager

• Mandatory Skills
• Strong knowledge of Requirements Engineering methodologies
• 10+ years of experience
• Hands-on experience with DOORS and Polarion (requirements & change management)
• Understanding of tooling strategy and RM tool lifecycle
• Experience with Document Management Systems (versioning, storage, control)
• Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills
• The role involves close collaboration with global teams and stakeholders. Its primary focus is Requirements Management; Requirements Engineering activities are outside the scope of this position.
• Desired Skills
• Experience in multi-project coordination without direct authority
• Strong ownership mindset for end-to-end RM responsibilities
• Ability to drive alignment across engineers, architects, and management
• Good analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Knowledge of Railway domain / Interlocking systems
• Familiarity with SAP integration for process/document management
• Understanding of V&V, RAMS, and system engineering interfaces
