Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–3 years of working experience as Shop Engineer, preferably in transformer industry.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Executes the assigned work according to agreed workflows and in accordance with HITACHI Energy standard processes and safety guidelines.
• Regular standard maintenance of the equipment.
• Routine maintenance activities in compliance with health & safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance.
• Operates within standard operating procedures and maintains a clean work area.
• Track maintenance KPIs like MTBF, MTTR, downtime and spare parts usage
• Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to breakdowns
• Good basic communication skills to co-ordinate with cross functional team
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues
• To handle shifts individually
• Basic knowledge of 5S activities
• Maintain machine checklist and record machine history.
• You will be ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

• Diploma or Degree with Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
• 2-3 years of working experience as Shop Engineering preferably in Transformer Industry
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
