Responsibilities of the role :

• Maintain essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, software, and hardware
• Recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes
• Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
• Develop and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy to protect the company’s digital assets and customer data
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
• Prepare cost–benefit analyses when upgrades are necessary, and monitor vendors to ensure that they’re offering the best-possible service and value for business needs
• Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and address potential security threats and weaknesses
• Assist employees in using software and hardware; troubleshoot issues and provide technical support when needed

Required :

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science
• Five or more years of experience in IT management
• Deep knowledge of cyber security, operating systems, current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and systems performance monitoring
• Expertise in implementing, configuring, and testing IT solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
