Job Title: Media Operations Technician

Duration: 6 months

Top Requirements (Must Haves)

• 4+ years experience in video, encompassing knowledge of related concepts such as timecode, frame rate, AV codecs, editing, timed text formats, and understanding of multiple video file formats and compression techniques.
• You have knowledge of industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer.
• You are proficient in asset management, storage, and systems, including familiarity with cloud-based storage solutions and file transfer protocols (e.g., AWS S3, GCP, FTP, or Aspera).
• You have experience with media asset management (MAM) systems and digital archiving practices.
• You have an awareness of copyright laws and licensing agreements related to digital content distribution.
• You can troubleshoot technical issues related to video encoding, transcoding, and playback.
• You have familiarity with content protection measures.
• You communicate effectively (written, verbal, listening), and demonstrate ability to describe issues by email.
• You handle multiple tasks at once, demonstrating organization, punctuality, and excel at adapting to changing expectations.
