Job summary

Amazon ASSPL Gujarat is seeking a maintenance technician to oversee facility and admin duties with emphasis on electrical, mechanical, and automation systems. responsibilities include conveyors maintenance, PLC/SCADA/HMI, VFD, sensors and control cabinets, along with DG maintenance and safety compliance.

The role requires hands-on experience in electrical/electronic control systems, with ability to coordinate with vendors for warranty/AMC and manage soft services and housekeeping for production

Responsibilities

• Daily, Weekly, Monthly technical check per PPM schedule.
• Maintenance & troubleshooting on conveyors involving automation (PLC, SCADA, HMI, VFD, field sensors, sortation systems, control cabinets).
• Attend TT calls for corrective maintenance, service and repair works.
• Coordinate with vendor for systems under warranty/AMC.
• DG maintenance.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot power distribution systems, wiring methods and material.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic and control components (photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tacks, encoders).
• Support production in a safe, customer-focused manner.
• Minor refurbishment and upgrade work for building finishes, fixtures, fittings, OPS equipment like Trolley, Cages, Carts.
• Maintenance, oiling, greasing of carts, trolleys, pump, rollingShutters.
• Attend regular Electrical works; height work, hot work permits to issue.
• Minor Civil & Plumbing corrective maintenance calls.
• Provide daily reports on TT closures & open cases & RCA.
• Soft services tasks: Pest control, housekeeping, scrap & garbage disposal; manage agency staff & shift.
