ExxonMobil is seeking a Reliability & Maintenance Engineer - Tanks in Bengaluru, India. The role focuses on addressing reliability and maintenance issues, optimizing maintenance planning, and guiding teams to drive continuous improvement across multiple sites using Primavera P6 and Prometheus.

You will own maintenance processes, mentor teams, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while coordinating with operations, maintenance, and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of maintenance

Job Role Description

The Reliability & Maintenance Engineer - Advanced is responsible for addressing and resolving Reliability and Maintenance issues, delivering solutions that improve performance, optimize processes, and align with business objectives. They oversee and optimize Maintenance Management Systems, ensuring tasks are efficiently planned and executed, while maintaining adequate quality standards in work deliverables. They provide recommendations for design and implementation of maintenance processes, ensuring streamlined operations and effective issue resolution. They guide and influence teams, providing mentorship and foster collaboration to elevate maintenance practices, drive continuous improvement, and enhance operational efficiency. They take full ownership of responsibilities, prioritizing tasks effectively, and delivering results independently. They ensure implementation of fit-for-purpose Planning and Scheduling process across multiple sites driving efficiency. They utilize advanced tools like Primavera P6 and Prometheus for developing optimized Schedule for Routine maintenance and turnaround events.

Job Role Responsibilities

• Drives improvements in system processes and designs, provides recommendations that enhance efficiency, supports business objectives, and ensures system reliability and effectiveness
• Monitors and supports system reliability, availability, and capacity utilization, ensuring timely issue resolution and consistent system performance aligned with business needs
• Leads the annual maintenance planning process, ensuring alignment, timely inputs, seamless collaboration, progress tracking, and right-first-time delivery through effective coordination and mentorship
• Manages the approval process for design changes and system access roles, ensuring security and proper controls are maintained in collaboration with system custodians
• Interfaces with Operations, Maintenance, and logistics teams to address operational challenges and ensuring smooth execution of maintenance activities
• Leads maintenance practices, leverage systems and tools, performs risk assessments, and enhances overall maintenance reliability and performance
• Ensures operational compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations, proactively identify and mitigate risks to support operational availability
• Oversees contract management processes, ensure contractors and services are available, while resolving contract related issues to support maintenance operations
• Manages spares to ensure smooth operations and optimize resource allocations for maintenance needs
