Job summary

LPL Financial Global Capability Center in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Release Engineer-II to own the end-to-end release lifecycle for multiple products across global teams. You will drive release planning, automation, governance, and cloud deployment strategies to ensure high-quality software delivery.

The role requires hands-on expertise in Release Engineering, CI/CD tools, GitHub Actions, SonarQube, AWS Cloud, and release management platforms, along with strong stakeholder management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Release Engineering, DevOps Engineering, Build Engineering, or Release Management.
• Strong hands-on experience with Release Management and CI/CD tools.
• Expertise in GitHub Actions and Git-based development workflows.
• Experience implementing and supporting SonarQube quality-gate processes.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services and deployment models.
• Experience managing enterprise-wide release processes across multiple teams.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Release Engineer-II to own and drive the end-to-end release lifecycle across multiple products and global engineering teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for release planning, build and deployment automation, CI/CD pipeline management, release governance, and cloud deployment strategies while ensuring high-quality and reliable software delivery.

This role requires strong expertise in Release Engineering, CI/CD tools, GitHub Actions, SonarQube, AWS Cloud, Release Management Platforms, and exceptional stakeholder management skills to coordinate releases across geographically distributed teams.

Requirements
