Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.

• Experience with CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD.
• Knowledge of release and deployment processes.
• Basic to intermediate AWS Cloud experience.
• Proficient in Git and Linux/Unix.
• Willingness for 24x7 on-call rotation.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Release Engineer with 3+ years of experience in Release Management, DevOps, CI/CD automation, and Cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will support and manage software releases, deployment activities, and production operations while ensuring system reliability and availability.

This role requires participation in a 24x7 support model, collaboration with global teams, and ownership of deployment activities across multiple environments. The candidate should possess strong troubleshooting skills, automation experience, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Release Engineering, DevOps, Application Support, or related roles.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of software release and deployment processes.
• Basic to intermediate experience with AWS Cloud services.
• Experience with source control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience with scripting (Shell, Python, PowerShell, or similar).
• Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Willingness to participate in a 24x7 support/on-call rotation.

Core Competencies

• Experience with GitHub Actions and deployment automation.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Exposure to monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Splunk, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Familiarity with code quality tools such as SonarQube.
