Job summary

Almondz Global Infra Consultant (AGICL) is looking for a business development professional to grow the retail and HNI client base for equity trading in India. You will open Demat accounts, build a pipeline, and cross-sell funds, bonds, PMS, AIFs, insurance and FDs.

You will manage client relationships, provide investment ideas, conduct portfolio reviews, and ensure high client satisfaction while meeting brokerage targets. This role involves advisory support and coordination with research teams.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new retail and HNI clients for equity trading.
• Open Demat and Trading accounts through various sourcing channels.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
• Cross-sell financial products such as Mutual Funds, Bonds, PMS, AIFs, Insurance, and Fixed Deposits.
• Generate business through referrals, networking, and corporate tie-ups.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
• Understand clients' investment objectives and risk profiles.
• Conduct regular portfolio reviews and recommend suitable investment opportunities.
• Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
• Assist clients in executing equity and derivatives trades.
• Share market updates, research reports, and trading ideas.
• Promote delivery, intraday, derivatives, and margin trading products.
• Educate clients on market trends, investment strategies, and risk management.
• Coordinate with research and dealing teams for timely execution of recommendations.
• Achieve monthly and annual brokerage targets.
• Increase active client base and trading volumes.
• Improve client wallet share through cross-selling and upselling.
• Drive recurring revenue through client engagement.
• Reactivate dormant trading accounts.
• Conduct client meetings, webinars, and investor awareness sessions.
• Regularly follow up with inactive clients to increase trading frequency.
• Maintain continuous engagement through calls, emails, and digital channels.
• Ensure adherence to SEBI, NSE, BSE, and internal compliance guidelines.
• Complete KYC, account opening, and documentation accurately.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information.
• Coordinate with operations for smooth onboarding and issue resolution.
• Stay updated with equity markets, economic developments, and corporate actions.
• Track competitor offerings and identify business opportunities.
• Understand market sentiment and communicate actionable insights to clients.
