Job summary

IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking a Relationship Manager - Rural Business Banking to deliver banking solutions for rural business customers. You will drive asset NTB client acquisition, deepen liabilities and FX, and collaborate with product and operations teams to enhance customer experience.

Key responsibilities include acquiring new business banking clients, managing credit assessments, and building strong relationships with branches and stakeholders to optimize cross-functional delivery.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new business banking customers with credit assessment.
• Knowledge on liability, Forex, trade and client relationships, delinquency management, relationship management, and an analytical mindset.
• Manage portfolio through monitoring of accounts, renewals, enhancements, retention and portfolio hygiene.
• Develop a superior working relationship with branch banking for cross-leveraging & synergy optimization.
• Evaluate growth strategy based on competitor analysis and feedback from different channels and customers.
• Recommend process changes to improve service efficiency and quality across the branch network.
• Demonstrate ability in sales planning and promotions and marketing initiatives.
• Understand financial statements, credit assessment and title-security documents.
• Contribute to product knowledge by sharing competitor data and positive process.
• Provide support for development of new products for existing and new customer segments.
• Build collaborative work culture between branch, assets team and support structure to enable front line teams.
• Build, Grow and Nurture the team of Relationship Managers of the Region

Role/ Job Title: Relationship Manager - Rural Business Banking

Function/ Department: Retail Banking

Job Purpose:

The role entails providing financial solutions to meet the working requirements of Rural business banking customers and ensuring best-in-class relationship management and customer experience to become their banking partner of choice. The role bearer is responsible for asset NTB client acquisition along with liabilities and FX deepening. The role will closely collaborate with the product and operations teams to drive effective customer acquisition, servicing, and deepening.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for acquiring new customers for business banking with a detailed understanding of credit assessment.
• Knowledge on liability, Forex, trade and client relationships, delinquency management, relationship management, and an analytical mindset.
• Managing the portfolio effectively through continuous monitoring of accounts and renewals, enhancement, retention and ensuring portfolio hygiene with minimal open deferral and covenants.
• Develop a superior working relationship with branch banking for cross-leveraging & synergy optimization and work within the overall bank ecosystem with other stakeholders.
• Evaluate the growth strategy based on competitor analysis and feedback from different channels and customers.
• Recommend process changes to improve service efficiency and quality across the branch network.
• Demonstrated ability in sales planning and conceptualizing promotions and marketing initiatives.
• Understanding of financial statements, credit Assessment and title-security documents

Secondary Responsibilities:
