Position Overview

Position Title: Relationship Manager - Axis Bank Alternate Channel BB

Role Summary:

Dual responsibility of joint field work and team management.

  • Interact with bank's cluster head, bank employees, and manage them daily.
  • Manage branches directly mapped to the RM.
  • Help RMs achieve sales targets and maintain productivity.
  • Ensure quality of recruits, maintain compliance, and drive team performance.

Reports To: Regional Sales Manager

Supervises: Assistant RM

Stakeholders Internal: Supervisors, RMs, Operations, Underwriting

Stakeholders External: Bank Channel Partner

Key Result Areas
  • Interact with bank branch employees and cluster heads to achieve sales targets.
  • Provide guidance and support to bank staff, TATA AIA KAMs, and stakeholders regarding submissions, issuance, and pending resolutions.
  • Maintain good relationships with cluster heads and motivate them to maintain productivity.
  • Monitor case size, product mix, and team targets to ensure persistency and sales growth.
  • Manage recruitment as per plans, monitor performance, and promote RMs to next levels.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs and sales processes, taking disciplinary actions if needed.
  • Achieve top-line growth through premium targets, KAM activation, and product mix.
  • Manage sales activities, renewal collections, and relationship mapping with bank staff.
  • Own risk management by developing a risk-aware culture, participating in mitigation and contingency planning, and reporting risks.
Skills Required

Technical: Good knowledge of MS Office.
