Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Regulatory Reporting professional to lead end-to-end reporting across capital and liquidity domains. The role focuses on data aggregation, reconciliation, governance, and timely regulatory submissions within a heavy controls environment.

The candidate will manage daily to quarterly reporting cycles, collaborate with offshore teams, and ensure compliance with PRA requirements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10 + 2 + 3).
  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or equivalent relevant experience. FRM, CFA, MBA Finance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and review regulatory reporting outputs for completeness, accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Execute daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting processes with timely delivery.
  • Prepare, review and analyse reconciliations, controls, adjustments and analytical outputs across end-to-end reporting.
  • Prepare and own manual adjustments with proper documentation and approvals.
  • Prepare and review management packs, variance analysis and commentary for senior stakeholders.
  • Conduct detailed data quality reviews, assess methodologies and escalate material issues.
  • Investigate and resolve complex reporting issues, reconciliations and control breaks.
  • Oversee governance, sign-off processes and documentation of reporting outputs.
  • Ensure compliance with PRA expectations, regulatory standards and submission timelines.
  • Understand regulatory reporting requirements from an operational delivery perspective.
  • Support responses to regulatory queries, internal audits, control reviews and ad hoc requests.
  • Manage competing priorities, delivery timelines and escalate key risks.
  • Assess operational impact of regulatory/process/system changes and identify improvements.
  • Identify and support process improvements and automation to strengthen controls.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to junior colleagues.

Lead and oversee the delivery of regulatory reporting activities within a controlled, regulated financial services environment. The role is responsible for ensuring completeness, accuracy, governance, and timely delivery of regulatory reporting outputs across Capital and/or Liquidity / IFRS Reporting / Credit Risk Reporting processes. company reporting covers regulatory submissions required under PRA supervision, including liquidity, capital, stress testing, and statistical returns.

The role provides review, challenge, and oversight across reporting activities delivered through the offshore operating model, ensuring outputs are supported by robust controls, reconciliations, analytical review, and regulatory compliance.

Job Responsibility

1. Manage and perform the review and challenge of regulatory reporting outputs to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

2. Take day-to-day responsibility for execution of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting processes, ensuring timely delivery in line with agreed processes, controls, and governance standards.

3. Prepare, review, and analyse reconciliations, controls, adjustments, and analytical reporting outputs across the end to end reporting process.

4. Prepare and own required manual adjustments, ensuring they are accurately calculated, appropriately approved, and supported by clear documentation and audit trails.

5. Prepare and review management packs, variance analysis, and commentary for senior stakeholder reporting, ensuring key movements, risks, and issues are clearly articulated.

Controls, Governance & Regulatory Compliance

6. Perform detailed review and challenge of data quality, reporting assumptions, and methodologies, escalating material issues where required.

7. Investigate and resolve complex reporting issues, anomalies, reconciliation differences, and control breaks, working with relevant stakeholders to agree remediation actions.

8. Manage governance and sign-off processes, ensuring reporting outputs are appropriately evidenced, reviewed, and documented.

9. Ensure compliance with PRA expectations, regulatory reporting standards, governance requirements, and submission timelines.

10. Understand regulatory reporting requirements from an operational delivery perspective and assess impacts on reporting processes, data, controls, and outputs.

11. Support responses to regulatory queries, internal audit requests, control reviews, and ad hoc information requests.

12. Manage competing priorities, delivery timelines, issue resolution, and escalation of key reporting risks and issues.

Change, Process Improvement & Implementation

13. Assess the operational impact of regulatory, process, and system changes affecting regulatory reporting processes and outputs.

14. Identify and support process improvements, automation initiatives, and strengthening of reporting controls to improve efficiency, accuracy, and operational resilience.

Team Management & Oversight

15. Provide day-to-day supervision, task allocation, technical guidance, training, and review support to junior colleagues, ensuring work is completed accurately and on time.

A. Capital Reporting Activities (include if applicable)
  • Review and challenge COREP returns, including Own Funds, Risk Weighted Assets (RWA), and Capital Ratios (CET1, Tier 1, Total Capital).
  • Review capital reconciliations, consolidation adjustments, and regulatory calculations.
  • Provide oversight and challenge across ICAAP and Economic Capital reporting activities.
  • Ensure capital reporting outputs align with regulatory requirements, internal policy, and governance expectations.
B. Liquidity Reporting
  • Support the production, review, and submission of liquidity regulatory returns across PRA and ECB requirements as part of the weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting cycle.
  • Support the full end-to-end liquidity reporting lifecycle, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and traceability of all outputs including Collection of data from Treasury, Risk, Finance, and source systems,
  • Support preparation of liquidity regulatory returns including PRA110, LCR, NSFR, and ALM, Application of regulatory adjustments, assumptions, and liquidity metrics calculations
C. Regulatory Submissions / Bank of England Reporting

Support preparation and submission of Bank of England / PRA regulatory returns. Exposure to end -to-end IFRS9 model execution and monitoring, supporting Finance and Risk reporting.

D. IFRS 9 Reporting / Credit Risk / Market Risk Reporting

Exposure to end -to-end IFRS9 model execution and monitoring, supporting Finance and Risk reporting, Data aggregation, validation, and reconciliation
