Job summary

Luxoft is seeking an experienced software automation engineer for an ADAS Domain Controller project in Bengaluru. You will drive Python-based automation, toolchain development, and data handling for testing against AUTOSAR/QNX environments with OEM teams.

The role requires strong Python skills, OOP/SOLID knowledge, REST APIs and Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, and agile methods. You will collaborate across disciplines to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required in Computer or Electronics.
• 4–7 years of automotive software experience.
• Experience with Python and automation/toolchain development.
• Knowledge of various file formats (xlsx, csv, xml).
• Strong understanding of OOP and SOLID.

Job description

This opening is for an ADAS Domain Controller project for a prestigious OEM, where Luxoft is working with the OEM teams to deliver next-generation Platform solution based on AUTOSAR Classic, AUTOSAR Adaptive and QNX working together as a system interacting with a host of cameras, ultrasound sensors, internal and external Radars.

Luxoft is collaborating on Signal and Service Management, Diagnostics, SW Update, Vehicle Config, QNX/Middleware and Software Architecture areas with the OEM directly.

Luxoft is expected to delivery quality and expert support in the above areas, drive topics independently, liaise with other OEM stakeholders to remove blockers. The ideal candidate needs to have endless curiosity and can pair a global mindset with locally relevant execution. You should be a gritty problem solver, have a never-give-up attitude and be a self-starter who can think of out-of-the-box solutions. The successful candidate will be a team player, display a balance of hard and soft skills, including the ability to respond quickly to Client's changing needs.

Responsibilities:

Handling automation tasks in Python:

• generate test specification files for Flow according to Signal Manager Specs and Master ICD documents
• update test specifications for newer versions of Master ICD
• populate different attributes of test cases in JIRA
• update test specification files based on test execution feedback
• Develop Toolchains in Python and Django framework for advanced automotive systems

Mandatory Skills Description:

• Engineering in Computer, Electronics, or equivalent with 4 to 7 years of experience
• Have knowledge of extracting content in different file formats (e.g., xlsx, csv, xml, etc.)
• Good understanding of Python data types and when to use which data type
• Proper knowledge of OOP concepts
• Good understanding of Python operators
• Knowledge of the SOLID principle
• Have knowledge of accessing JIRA, Confluence and other servers' REST APIs
• Have knowledge of Python libs to create different file formats as output for end-user review
• Should have experience in any SQL or NoSQL database
• Should have understanding and experience in Tool Development in the AUTOMOTIVE domain
• Should have experience in Git/GitHub/GitLab and Jenkins
• Should have experience in Agile Software Development Life Cycle Methodologies (Scrum/ Kanban)
