Job summary

Workcell Solutions in Maharashtra is seeking a pharmacist to dispense medicines accurately according to prescriptions and counsel customers on usage and safety. The role requires MSPC registration and relevant experience in retail pharmacy.

The candidate will review prescriptions for dosage and interactions, maintain records and support inventory management. Willingness to work rotating shifts including weekends is essential.

Role & Responsibilities

• Dispense medicines accurately as per valid prescriptions.
• Review prescriptions for dosage, drug interactions, and patient safety.
• Counsel customers on proper medicine usage, storage, and precautions.
• Ensure compliance with Pharmacy Act, MSPC regulations, and company SOPs.
• Maintain accurate billing, prescription records, and controlled medicine documentation.
• Monitor inventory, expiry dates, stock rotation, and replenishment.
• Handle customer queries and deliver a high standard of patient care.
• Coordinate with doctors, store staff, and warehouse for medicine availability.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and quality standards within the pharmacy.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• D.Pharm or B.Pharm from a recognized institute.
• Valid MSPC (Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council) Registration is mandatory.
• 05 years of experience in retail or chain pharmacy (freshers can apply).
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer and pharmacy billing software knowledge.
• Willing to work rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
