Goodyear is seeking a Regional Security Advisor for Asia Pacific to define and drive a multi-year security strategy, protecting our people, manufacturing footprint, assets, and reputation while enabling the company’s growth.

You will partner with regional leadership on market entry, site selection, and risk appetite, translating global strategy into a mature regional program that can be scaled and measured.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive security management experience.
  • Experience in Asia Pacific region preferred.
  • Experience in a large multinational company or equivalent public/government sector.
  • Proven ability to influence and advise senior executives, and to lead and inspire teams without formal authority.
  • Manufacturing sector experience preferred.
  • CPP, PSP, PSI, or equivalent certification a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own a multi-year Asia Pacific security strategy and roadmap.
  • Anticipate geopolitical, economic, criminal, civil unrest, terrorism, and climate-related risks and translate into guidance.
  • Lead regional risk assessments and prioritized investment decisions for people, travelers, facilities, and assets.
  • Advise on security implications of major business decisions including market entry, acquisitions, site selection, and supply chain footprint.
  • Own regional crisis management, business continuity, and emergency preparedness.

As the senior security leader for the region, you will define and drive a security vision that protects our people, manufacturing footprint, assets, and reputation while enabling the company's growth ambitions.You will be a strategic partner to regional and country leadership, shaping decisions on market entry, site selection, expansion, and risk appetite. You will translate global security strategy into a regional program that is mature, measurable, and adapted to each country. You will also build the organization, partnerships, and resilience that make the company a secure and credible presence across the region.
