Job summary

Carrier in Kolkata is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive growth across channel partners, projects, and national accounts. You will identify opportunities, build relationships, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to expand market presence.

The role requires 8–12 years in business development or sales, strong HVAC/R product knowledge, and travel as needed. You will develop account growth plans, manage pipeline, and provide performance insights through dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 8 to 12 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Channel Management, Project Sales, or Key Account Management.
• Strong understanding of HVAC/R products, channel sales, project business, and customer relationship management.
• Experience working with channel partners, consultants, contractors, developers, or large corporate customers.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and develop new business opportunities and deliver growth.
• Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel as required to support business development and customer engagement activities.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of growth strategies across Carrier Channel Partners, Projects, National Accounts.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities to drive revenue and profitability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, customers, consultants, contractors, and distributors.
• Develop and implement account growth plans for strategic customers and key business segments.
• Track and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring timely conversion of opportunities into orders.
• Support project identification, opportunity mapping, quotation follow-up, and order closure activities.
• Assist in managing and growing National Accounts through structured engagement and business planning.
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure effective execution of business initiatives.
• Prepare business performance reports, growth dashboards, sales forecasts, and management reviews.
• Drive customer satisfaction and contribute to long‑term business relationships.
