Job summary

AKRSPI is seeking a capable leader to steer a multi-disciplinary team across natural resources, agriculture, livestock, and related areas. The person will liaise with donors and government officers, manage budgets, and drive integration of programmes for maximum household impact.

The role includes building capacity, developing monitoring systems, and providing administrative and financial oversight to regional teams and offices.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-thematic team of professionals in natural resources, agriculture, livestock, enterprises, education, skill development, etc., with support departments (accounts, M&E, reporting, administration).
• Liaise with donors and government officers; interact with field staff and community members.
• Oversee budget management and new resource mobilization.
• Develop systems and indicators from existing areas of work.
• Capacity build the team and prepare senior members for new challenges and new geographies.
• Integrate all programmes and projects to maximize household-level impact.
• Ensure timely submission of reports to donors, government and head office.
• Convey organization vision, mission and objectives to the team for long-term development, ensuring people's participation.
• Provide overall administration for the team and offices and financial oversight.
• Set up and operationalize monitoring and evaluation systems across regions.
• Provide leadership and guidance to area managers working in the regions.

• Develop conceptual clarity of the Organization vision, mission & objectives to team on long term development issues and ensuring the peoples participation in programmes.
• Provide overall administration for the team and all offices and financial oversight
• Set up and operationalize the monitoring and evaluation systems for all the work in the regions
• Provide leadership and overall guidance to the area managers working in the regions
