Job summary

Paytm is seeking an HR Business Partner at regional level to partner with and advise the business. The HRBP will drive HR strategies, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure data integrity across the employee lifecycle in the Bengaluru region.

The role requires 5-7 years in HRBP, proficiency in HRIS, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and strong change-driven mindset to support growth objectives and future talent needs.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in a core HRBP role.
• Experience in Performance Management is a must.
• Ability to review developmental plans and oversee execution for all employees.
• Ability to execute and implement new HR strategies and manage stakeholders.
• Hands-on with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and presentation skills; comfortable with Google Sheets.
• Experience with digital tools and HRIS management.

Responsibilities

• Validate and maintain accuracy of employee master data across lifecycle.
• Ensure policy adherence and legal compliance within the region.
• Track and manage employee leaves and attendance trends.
• Support audits and investigations with required data/documentation.
• Address employee grievances and manage escalations with timely resolution.
• Serve as the primary HR SPOC for regional leaders and field teams; provide HR guidance.
• Organize regional Townhalls and communication forums.
• Maintain regional HR trackers and dashboards focusing on attrition, attendance, escalations.

About the role:

This role includes leading the HR Function at the regional level to partner with and advises the business. The HR Business Partner(HRBP) will be responsible for working closely with the business to support the achievement of growth objectives and future talent needs.

The HRBP has overall accountability for the assigned Stakeholders, working closely with the business and HR leadership to implement the HR strategy.

Expectations/ Requirements :

• Validate and maintain the integrity and accuracy of employee master data throughout the employee lifecycle
• Ensure strict policy adherence and maintain legal compliance within the region.
• Accurate tracking and management of employee leave
• Support internal and external audits and investigations by providing required data and documentation
• Handle employee grievances and manage first-level escalations efficiently, ensuring resolution within the defined Turnaround Time (TAT)
• Act as the primary HR SPOC for all regional leaders and field teams, providing immediate and expert HR support and guidance
• Support engagement initiatives and organize/ facilitate regional Townhalls and other communication forums
• Manage regional HR trackers and dashboards focused on key metrics such as:

• Monitoring and controlling attrition rates
• Tracking and analysis of attendance trends
• Logging and managing escalations and resolutions.

Superpowers/ Skills that will help you succeed in this role :

• 5-7years of experience in a core HRBP role.
• Must have handled Performance Management.
• Should be able to Review developmental plans & their execution for all employees.
• Must be able to execute and implement new strategies. Stakeholder Management.
• Hands-on with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and presentation skills and Google sheets
• Hands-on experience in digital tools/ HRIS Management.
