Job summary

Abacus Consultants seeks a Regional Head - Loan Against Property (LAP) in Mumbai to lead AUM growth, profitability, and portfolio quality. You will drive channel strategies, lead sales teams, and ensure high credit quality and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 15+ years in lending, especially LAP/mortgages, a Graduate degree, and preferably MBA/PGDM. You will mentor senior teams and optimize operations to deliver superior customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience: 15+ years of lending experience, specifically in mortgages, LAP.
• Education: Graduate degree required; MBA/PGDM preferred.
• Skills: Proven ability in team management, strategic planning, and digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Scale the LAP portfolio by acquiring new customers and expanding market share in Mumbai.
• Design strategies for channel distribution, including DSAs and digital marketplace partners to maximize sales.
• Collaborate with Credit and Collection teams to manage delinquency rates and maintain high-quality assets.
• Lead, train, and motivate high-performing teams, including State Heads and Relationship Managers, to achieve productivity targets.
• Improve Turnaround Time (TAT) and enhance customer experience.
