Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in Pune, India seeks a Demand Planning professional to lead country forecasts and collaborate across regional and global teams. You will develop forecasts from historical data, integrate market intelligence, and support lifecycle decisions and product launches with supply planning insights.

You will partner with commercial, affiliate and Global teams to build inventory plans, monitor KPIs like MAP&E biases, and translate analytics into actionable plans.

Qualifications

• Develops country forecasts by maintaining demand history and tools provided.
• Ensures MI data used in forecasts is substantiated by business expectations and reconciled to plans.
• Leads LEX and E&O modelling for product discontinuation and lifecycle decisions, providing inputs to the country.
• Communicates the NPI launch purchase plan to sourcing partners.
• Validates regional demand plan via affiliate review by family and brand.
• Generates insights for investments aligned with product lifecycle, monitors capex, amortization, and inventory for product swaps.

Job Description:

Demand Planning for a Product Category

• Develops Country forecasts by appropriate maintenance of demand history and tools provided
• Ensures Market Intelligence (MI) data added to the statistical forecasts is substantiated by business expectations and reconciled to overall business plans
• Lead LEX (Launch Excellence) and E&O modelling for Product Discontinuation, Lifecycle decisions and impact. Provides planning inputs to country.
• Communicates the NPI launch purchase plan to source companies
• Validate Regional Demand plan - Affiliate review aggregation by Family & Brand
• Generate all insights required for Investments plans decisions in alignment with Product Lifecycle management, Brand strategy…Monitor Capex investments, amortization, and implants inventory to support product swaps

Commercial Collaboration

• Collaborates with Regional Commercial, countries affiliate and Global teams to obtain input from all relevant parties to build an inventory investment plan for execution
• Creates initial data input to the business planning exercise
• Provide Business insight of key Supply Chain Metrics (MAPE, BIAS), translate into meaningful business decision & action plan

Product and Planning expertise

• Understanding of product knowledge and market related areas. Able to guide countries team across portfolio complexity and Life Cycle Management decisions.
• Is abreast of current developments and trends within Supply Chain and Information Systems
