Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC) or Mechanical Engineering.
• 25 years of experience in industrial refrigeration, preferably in the dairy or food-processing industry.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts and adherence to plant safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor industrial ammonia refrigeration systems, screw compressors, condensers, pumps, chillers, and glycol systems.
• Monitor and maintain prescribed temperatures in milk processing areas, MFS, blast rooms, and cold rooms.
• Record and monitor critical operating parameters, including pressure, temperature, oil levels, and compressor performance.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure reliable operation.
• Identify abnormalities, troubleshoot breakdowns, and promptly escalate critical equipment failures.
• Ensure compliance with refrigeration safety procedures, SOPs, work permits, and emergency response protocols.
• Maintain accurate shift logbooks, equipment readings, breakdown records, and shift handover reports.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure uninterrupted refrigeration supply.
