Job summary

Carnation Infotech Pvt Ltd. is seeking an experienced Redis/KeyDB Cloud Administrator (L3) to manage cloud-hosted Redis and KeyDB environments across multiple enterprise projects. You will ensure high availability, optimize performance, enforce security, monitor health, and drive automation in AWS and Azure clouds.

You will handle replication, clustering, backups, upgrades, and incident response, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support critical workloads and on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Redis and/or KeyDB administration.
• Experience with AWS ElastiCache Redis and Azure Cache for Redis.
• Knowledge of replication, clustering, failover and DR strategies.
• Proficient in shell and Python scripting; familiar with IaC concepts.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain AWS ElastiCache Redis, Azure Cache for Redis, and KeyDB clusters.
• Configure replication, clustering, failover, and disaster recovery.
• Perform capacity planning, memory optimization, and performance tuning.
• Monitor availability, latency, replication lag, and resource usage.
• Manage backups, patching, upgrades, and migrations.
• Implement security controls including ACLs, IAM integration and network isolation.
• Troubleshoot incidents and conduct root cause analysis.
• Automate operational tasks using Shell/Python scripts and IaC tools.
• Collaborate with application and cloud teams to support critical workloads.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call support for major incidents.

Role Summary

The candidate will be responsible for high availability, performance tuning, security, monitoring, automation, and incident management in AWS/Azure cloud environments.
