Job summary

Sopra Steria UK is seeking a Recruitment UK Senior Manager-Operations to oversee the end-to-end delivery of recruitment services across multiple business units. You will ensure KPI achievement, contract compliance, and seamless client delivery while leading a capable delivery team.

In this role, you will partner with senior stakeholders, manage risks, forecast demand, and drive improvements in recruitment processes. A strong background in operational delivery and people management is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day delivery of recruitment services across multiple units.
• Monitor the delivery of recruitment services in accordance with the contract and KPIs.
• Ensure the team is briefed on delivery processes, KPIs and responsibilities.
• Manage operational relationship with core leadership.
• Act as escalation point for delivery lead to address client/business exceptions.
• Collaborate to ensure forward demand and delivery readiness.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to achieve objectives.
• Risk management of the service.
• Consolidate the operational plan for process streams and cross-service activities.
• Deliver the service to the plan and monitor performance.
• Report the operational service across stakeholders.
• Coordinate availability of platforms required for service delivery.
• Partner in Change Management.
• Analyze recruitment trends and insights to drive future activity and reduce risk.

Operational Delivery

• Overall day to day delivery of the services ensuring KPI's are consistently delivered across multiple business units
• Monitoring the delivery of recruitment services in accordance with the contract, ensuring seamless delivery. Overseeing other service units (Compliance)
• Ensuring the team is fully briefed on the contractual recruitment delivery process to include in-scope activities, KPIs, mandatory recruitment activity stages and team responsibilities
• Managing operational relationship with core leadership team
• Act as an escalation point for delivery lead to work towards any client / business exceptions
• Work with the delivery lead to ensure there is an informed view of the forward demand and delivery readiness in terms of capability/capacity
• Liaise closely with wider internal stakeholders to maintain effective relationships & achieve organizational objectives
• Risk Management of the service
• To consolidate the operational plan for assigned process streams and "cross service" supporting activities to give a consolidated plan for delivery of the service
• To deliver the service to that plan, proactively monitoring delivery and instigating corrective monitoring should the measures indicate deviation from the plan
• To report the operational service across the stakeholders
• To liaison for availability of the operational platforms required for service delivery
• Partnering in Change Management
• Analyzing and communicating recruitment trends, results and insights (business unit, client and external market) to drive future recruitment activity, improve compliance and reduce risk

People Management

• Recruiting, inducting and training new team members where and when required
• Ensuring effective performance optimization of all team members, ensuring all KPIs are set and appropriate development plans are devised and mentoring is provided as required
• Career planning and management for team members
• Advise and mentor team members
• Develop training plan at the team and individual level
• To motivate, lead and develop the team and encourage communication

Commercial Delivery of the Service

• Manage the operational service to the service levels defined in the contract and any subsequent work packages and change controls in conjunction with SSI's commercial team
• Project specific commercial targets & forecast planning
