Job summary

Kerala School of Mathematics invites applications for permanent Assistant Professor (Fellow) positions. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Mathematics or allied fields with at least three years of postdoctoral research and a strong publication record.

Faculty Recruitment: Assistant Professor (Fellow)The Kerala School of Mathematics (KSoM) invites applications from dynamic and accomplished researchers for permanent positions of Assistant Professor (Fellow). KSoM is a national Centre of Excellence dedicated to fundamental mathematics, fostering a vibrant academic environment with advanced research programs and graduate teaching. Excellence in research is the primary criterion for selection. Further information about the institute can be found at ksom.res.in.Eligibility: Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Mathematics or allied areas and have at least three years of postdoctoral research experience with a strong publication record. The age of the candidate should not exceed 35 years, with standard relaxations for exceptional candidates.Research Areas: While priority will be accorded to strengthening research in the focus areas listed below, exceptional candidates from all areas of mathematics are warmly welcome and actively encouraged to apply:Geometry & Topology (Differential Geometry, Low-Dimensional Topology, Symplectic Geometry, etc.)Partial Differential Equations (PDEs) (Linear & Nonlinear PDEs, Harmonic Analysis & PDEs, etc.)Operator Theory & Operator Algebras (Functional Analysis, Spectral Theory, Noncommutative Analysis, etc.)Selection Procedure: The selection will prioritize originality, depth, and international recognition in research. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to KSoM to present a seminar and interact with the Selection Committee.
