Job summary

Accenture in India seeks an experienced Record to Report Ops Assoc Manager to lead reconciliation and close activities within Finance Operations. You will analyze data reports, drive accuracy in ledgers, and coordinate with global teams to meet deadlines.

With 10–14 years in R2R and a BCom, you will mentor junior staff, manage medium-sized teams, and contribute to process improvements, while working in shifts as required.

Qualifications

• 10–14 years of experience in Record to Report / account reconciliations.
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (BCom).
• Strong understanding of general ledger and reconciliation processes.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts.

Responsibilities

• Align with Finance Operations to determine financial outcomes by collecting operational data reports and reconciling transactions.
• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts and sub-ledger summaries.
• Analyze moderately complex problems and develop new or adapt existing solutions under senior guidance.
• Lead medium‑sized teams or work efforts, coordinating with supervisors and client teams.

What would you do?

• You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions.
• A type of general ledger account which contains a summary of sub-ledger accounts.
• Because the reconciliation account only provides a summary, no transactions are directly posted to the account. What are we looking for?
• Primary skill - Account Reconciliations - P5 Roles and Responsibilities:
• In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of moderately complex problems.
• Typically creates new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures.
• The person requires understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
• Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor or team leads.
• Generally interacts with peers and or management levels at a client and or within Accenture.
• The person should require minimal guidance when determining methods and procedures on new assignments.
• Decisions often impact the team in which they reside and occasionally impact other teams.
• Individual would manage medium-small sized teams and or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.
