Job summary

Infosys Bengaluru is seeking a ReactJS NodeJS Developer to join our product engineering teams. You will design and implement modular frontend architectures, build reusable components in ReactJS and TypeScript, and connect to backend services via RESTful APIs.

You will collaborate in an Agile environment, optimize performance, ensure accessibility, and deliver reliable, scalable web applications with a strong emphasis on code quality and documentation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in building web applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with ReactJS and NodeJS in production.
• Proficiency in building and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Working knowledge of TypeScript for scalable, maintainable codebases.
• Education: BTECH / BCA / MCA / MTECH.

Responsibilities

• Frontend (ReactJS) - Develop reusable UI components in ReactJS and TS.
• Create responsive, accessible interfaces with cross-browser compatibility.
• Manage client-side state and integrate UI with backend services via RESTful APIs.
• Optimize rendering performance and page load times.
• Backend (NodeJS) - Design and build backend services to support features.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs with clear contracts.
• Collaborate on API versioning and backend/frontend integration.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure quality and readability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to estimate effort and meet timelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs across stack; contribute to documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of API design principles, including pagination, filtering, and error standards.
• Familiarity with authentication/authorization patterns for web applications and API security basics.
• Experience improving performance (frontend rendering, API latency) and debugging production issues.
• Proven ability to collaborate in agile teams, communicate trade-offs, and take ownership end-to-end.
