A tech company in India is seeking a React/Next.js developer with 1–3 years of experience. We are seeking a React/Next.js developer with 1–3 years of hands-on experience to join our frontend team. You’ll work on building modern, scalable, and performant web applications with a strong focus on UX, performance, and best practices in modern frontend development.
Responsibilities
● Develop responsive, accessible, and SEO-friendly UIs using React, TypeScript, and Next.js 15+ (App Router).
● Implement SSR/SSG and caching strategies to deliver high-performance apps.
● Build modular, reusable components with Tailwind CSS.
● Integrate APIs (REST/GraphQL) with OpenAPI clients and manage data using React Query.
● Write and maintain tests (unit, integration, E2E) with Jest, React Testing Library, and Playwright.
● Ensure features follow accessibility (a11y) standards.
● Collaborate in an Agile setup (standups, sprints, retrospectives).
● Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high code quality.
Skills & Qualifications
● 1–3 years of hands-on React.js + Next.js production experience.
● Familiarity with App Router & React Server Components (preferred).
● Strong skills in TypeScript, ES6+, and modern JavaScript.
● Proficiency in CSS/Tailwind CSS.
● Solid grasp of data fetching, caching, and state management (React Query, plus Zustand/Redux/Jotai exposure).
● Experience writing tests (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright).
● Understanding of a11y standards & SEO best practices.
● Comfortable with Git/GitHub workflows; exposure to CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Docker, npm workspaces) is a plus.
● Experience working in Agile teams with collaborative workflows.
● Up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in Next.js and modern frontend development.
